MEPS International Inc.

was founded in 1994 in Toronto by Dejan (Dan) Bojic to provide engineering and consulting services in mining machinery and wellsite geology. Over the past twenty years, MEPS International Inc. has consulted in ‘mining and oilfield safety as well as occupational health and safety, assessing and preventing workplace hazards.’

Our latest addition, MEPS - Suspended Façade Access Consulting, was launched in 2015. Led by Dragana Kaplarevic, P.Eng, its objective is to increase safety in the suspended access industry and advocate fall hazard awareness on the buildings.

Prior to incorporating with MEPS International Inc., Dragana worked as a Structural Engineer, Project Manager and Engineering Sales Manager with a leading North American manufacturer of permanently installed window cleaning and exterior façade maintenance equipment. With her twenty years long experience in assisting Developers and Architects in the design and installation of hundreds of systems, Dragana is a critical resource for building owners in resolving issues, upgrades, deficiencies and Ontario Ministry of Labor orders.

Committed to the highest professional standards, Dragana recognizes the need to improve industry practices in Ontario, where independent, objective design not driven by sales of equipment is often omitted in the building design phase. She enthusiastically advocates risk assessment and increased competency of mandatory inspections through her daily activities and also through her active involvement and membership at the Technical Committees for Canadian Standards CSA/Z271- Safety Code for Suspended Platforms and CSA/Z91 – Health and Safety Code for Suspended Equipment Operations.

MEPS Suspended Façade Access Consulting engages experienced associates for structural, mechanical and electrical design as needed, and ensures that system design parameters and specifications are clear and acceptable for all potential prequalified bidders.

We also train younger, enthusiastic Engineers and Technicians who share our interest and passion for this unique discipline.
